The mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
ABWA is a national organization with over 70 years of bringing working women together. Membership in ABWA offers opportunities for leadership, education, networking and national recognition.
Women Connecting Women Chapter chartered in Newberry County, South Carolina on November 7, 2020 with over 60 charter members and is one of the largest ABWA chapters in the country.
Membership is open to women across the State and nation.
The women's business league is for women of diverse occupations and backgrounds to include working women, business owners, aspiring business owners, educators, college students, semi-retired and retired professionals who desire the synergy of creative and positive minds to help you learn, connect, and grow personally and professionally!

Women Connecting Women members work hard and also know how to party with a purpose. As a group, we help promote unity in our community by joining forces with other organizations for worthy causes. Whether a masquerade party with Newberry Young Professionals, a seat at the table with Newberry Chamber of Commerce, or a night out at the Champions Gala; look for us around the community having fun and partying for purpose.
